Dahlia that just started blooming. A mystery tuber from the Kapellen Sunday market marked "light purple". I know that when they have something labeled as a certain color or type, you can't really trust it 😃. Pretty one though! I lucked out.

The Queens of Crime by Marie Benedict. Mystery writers Dorothy Sayers, Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh and others solve the murder of a young English nurse in 1930. It was a springboard to discovering other books to read, and peeking into the lives of these ladies. Fun one.

Read two memoirs by PNW musicians recently: The Harder I Fight, the More I Love You by Neko Case and Rebel Girl by Kathleen Hanna. One, earthy and humble (Case), the other, angry and raw (Hanna). Both interesting reads. I found myself enjoying Case's stories most.
