In 2024, the European Parliament awarded the leader of Venezuela's democratic forces its Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought, which is the EU’s highest award for those defending human rights and fundamental freedoms.

Really enjoying playing as part of the Ceolfhoireann an Phobail performing Seán Ó Riada’s “Mise Éire” at the Féile na Laoch in Cill Aodha.

So the twenty year wait unfortunately continues. Absolutely heartbroken for the players after such an amazing year, that second half performance really not reflecting how great a team they truly are. Extremely disappointing today but keeping the hope for 2026!! 🟥⬜️

A ghost 220 and then a 220X drives right past without stopping, five people at the stop with their hands out and it clearly wasn’t full. Why even have a bus service in Cork? Disgraceful, nothing ever changes and this is supposed to be the improved services after the driver shortage.

Would it hurt Bus Éireann that much to run extra buses on match days, people shouldn’t be waiting over an hour in Ballincollig to get into the city. Broken beyond repair system failing the people of Cork as usual.

Around 55 minutes waiting on a bus from Ballincollig into #Cork city. Corks biggest urban area of commuters. 3 schedules buses are no shows, an unscheduled one doesn’t stop for us, and this is all on the already reduced devices. #Balincollig

Ireland, a country where they reduce the bus services, print posters for the bus stops with the reduced schedules and yet they can’t even get anywhere near that. Bus Éireann is truly not fit for purpose in its current state. Can’t wait to be late to college today!

Great playing tonight with my son Cian during his first orchestral performance with Cork Concert Orchestra for Lord Mayor’s Christmas Concert in Cork City Hall

Two full 220s both not even displaying the bus number on them - and now we’ve government without the greens. Why even bother having a bus system at this point if they just don’t care 😭

This sounds so promising, can’t wait to reexperience Shadow and Maria’s story on the big screen!
