I think this is an under discussed element of the AI phenomena.

AI chatbots allow anyone to feel themselves a member of the managerial class, both in the sense that they’re above certain kinds of work and in that they deserve a kind of respect and adulation they’ve never been afforded before.

These days, make sure you're really buying what you want to buy online. Also, if you see news that a favourite author has written something unexpected, unless that comes verifiably direct from them or their publisher, double and triple check that it isn't one of these increasingly prevalent frauds.
