Thank you!
Well, enormous congrats to Anna Riot and Nana Sachie for their win at the british film designers guild awards last night for their incredible work on my video for The Shoemaker! What a lovely thing! We even beat Paddington Bear 😂.
A sneak peek at the first two shows of Spitalfields Music Festival 2026! We're landing at Wilton's Music Hall on 6th and 7th July with @tomhickox.bsky.social feat. NewYVC, and Emily Levy & Matthew Bourne's Mercury Songs.
Find out more: spitalfieldsmusic.org.uk/whats-on/
I’ll have the full band with me alongside some beautiful orchestral guests, and will also be joined by East London choir the New Young Voice Collective. It’s going to be a killer show, and I can’t wait to see you there!
Tickets on sale now, at spitalfieldsmusic.org.uk/events/tom-h....
It’s really rare to get the chance to perform there, and only possible now as it’s part of this summer’s Spitalfields Festival.
A building built in 1690, converted by a mad Victorian businessman into a concert hall, then lying derelict for most of the twentieth century before undergoing careful restoration into its current magical state.
NEW SHOW - WILTON’S MUSIC HALL - JULY 6th!
I am SO excited to announce a show at the spectacular Wilton's Music Hall on July 6th. Wilton’s is the most beautiful venue in the whole of London, and quite possibly the whole country (there’s a challenge for you I suppose!).
Quite a thrill I must say to hear my version of The Whole of the Moon used by BBC Sport to soundtrack part of their Winter Olympics opening montage starring Zlatan! Always wanted to soundtrack a big BBC sporting moment!
And equally thrilled that the maestro Jake Jackson has been nominated as Mix Engineer of the Year as well for his work on the album (amongst many other things!).
Honoured and really quite chuffed to be longlisted by the Music Producers Guild in their Self Producing Artist of the Year category for my work on The Orchestra of Stories. I’m in rarefied company with the likes of Barry Can’t Swim, Maribou State and Field Music.
Hope feet and heads are appropriately sore today!
Thanks all for your support last year, couldn’t do it without ya! Every ticket, album and bit of merch bought, it all counts. I’ve an album to make this year but there will be the odd show as well.
May your cup runneth over in 2026, dear friends.

Last gig of the year and what a beauty to finish on at Sheffield City Hall once more. It’s been so special opening for Richard Hawley on his Coles Corner anniversary tour.
Ps And big heartfelt love to Test Match Special for keeping me company on the long and very late drive home.

Just a very lovely show. My first time at Sheffield City Hall, what a place! Like stepping into the Pantheon. Richard Hawley and his band on fire. And a dreamy late night cheese and Christmas cake situation with Shez to boot. 🧀🎂🍷🙏🏻
💐 Who is ready for the last of the Coles Corner shows next week in Sheffield?
Very pleased to welcome @tomhickox.bsky.social as Special Guest on Monday and Wednesday and @andrewcushin.bsky.social on Tuesday.
Doors open at 6:45 pm so make sure to show up early!
Very lovely Brucie Bonus to be opening for the great man Richard Hawley at his shows at Sheffield City Hall next week, closing his Coles Corner tour in the motherland. I may spring a Christmassy surprise!

The most beautiful audience (and venue Acapela Studios) in Pentyrch, Cardiff last night. We drove home late last night buzzing (well, at least until Shez fell asleep 😂).
Just one more headline show now this year. Brighton Komedia next Sunday 30th. Only 30 odd tickets left now.
In 1934 my great grandmother Ina (mother of Eve, who features in my song “Roy and Eve”) put down a deposit of 65 shillings (£3.25 😂) on a whole house in Hampstead, with an agreed purchase price of £1,325 🤯. Best not think about what that might be worth now!
Nov 18 - Milton Keynes, Stables
Nov 21 - Cardiff, Acapela
Nov 30 - Brighton, Komedia (low tickets)
Gratuitous chef’s kiss, I can only apologise.
Brighton, Cardiff and Milton Keynes, we are coming to you this month and we very much hope to make your acquaintance!

What a treat to be playing The Stables in Milton Keynes for the first time on November 18th. Special venue, and tickets still available for this one. The songs and stories will be overflowing!
