this is one of the very few fighting games I've really enjoyed and actually put in the effort to master all the moves of a character. Had many epic battles against my brother on the Dreamcast.

I'd legit love to make a game using rigged sprites some day, i did an aprils fools post about an undiscovered snes resident evil 2 port using the same technique a couple years back:

I had so high expectations when I finally took the time to actually play my imported US version of it and was so disappointed. The backgrounds are often beautiful but the "story" is so thin and the whole gameplay felt very simplistic and grindy after a while. I gave up about halfway through :/

as a big fan of the Alien franchise I had a good (often intense) time with the original VR release. I'm sure they have put a lot of work into this 2D redesign but I would guess that it is just an okay shooter without the VR gameplay.
