really tired of devs claiming to make retro-styled games and comparing their work to PS1 aesthetics when all they do is putting a shitty filter on a generic high-poly game. In this case: Hollow Stories Lockdown.

I finished it recently and imo the very simple stealth (I even set it to "hard" after while) gameplay can't carry the game the whole way. The game is SO LONG that the mechanics felt incredibly repetitive after a while. Would have worked better for me if they had split it into two 40$ games instead.

We are working hard on #DERELIKT - a retro FPS inspired by Alien Resurrection, Doom 3 and System Shock 2.

really looking forward to it. It is one of the most interesting upcoming neo-retro projects at the moment.
