Issues can get hairy during RUD (Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly) especially while traveling by airship. Doubly so when a quick flying wyvern is on your heels. Thankfully it looks like our Sassy has an answer for the wyvern and back up nearby to help catch her

Playing with different body plans for my various wyvern species. Its been a ton of fun working out these concepts and I feel like they are really giving me a good feel for the atmosphere of my world

I felt like this sketch was too good to not do something with. Putting Sassy in a bit of danger seems to be just the right fit. A wyvern bearing down on her in freefall is certainly quite the danger especially cut off from her backup so far down. Hopefully they can help mount an expeditious rescue

More daily art practice before locking in this weekend. I got several kind messages from people missing my Sassy especially her long nails. This piece is pulling some double duty showing them off along with perspective and anatomy practice. I like it and wanna spend a bit more time with it rendering

A Sassy sketch from a recent session I'd done as I get back into the swing of my art project. Monster Hunter Wilds got its claws in me deep the last 2 weeks xD

A WIP of my next large illustration. Now that Mardi Gras is over I can hopefully begin dedicating the time to worldbuilding I'd like to.

These illustrations are good for stress testing ideas and pull double duty as a vital anatomy refresher. I'm excited to continue exploring more of my concepts

4 more days of Mardi Gras and then I can dive back into full swing world building and hopefully get some nice full illustrations out for you guys~

I've been making lots of visual aids for my world building based along the guidelines in my own notes. I decided the form for my project to take and illustrations like these are essential reference material moving forward. I'll be posting these with minimal context every now and again

Some practice drawings of a younger version of Sassypants, somewhere around her late teens to early twenties. I've been looking at not only her personal upbringing but also how her wardrobe changed over time or possibly even different directions for her design

It was pretty tricky to get right but I feel like I did Malenia's waterfowl dance justice ^^

Sometimes we go through these phases from time to time. I'm using it for some more introspection and trying improve personally. I hope your time to yourself and doing more personal art is just as fruitful ❤️

You're very kind ❤ I wanna do my best to continue making pleasing artwork like this ^^ I'm less down about myself than my post sounded. Am mostly just recognizing when I've hit a plateau and need to begin challenging myself again

Thank you very much ❤ this drawing just sorta clicked for me ^^ I was just flowing at the time and got it done in a single sitting! I always have fun with Elden Ring after putting in hundreds of hours but just something about this run through inspired me

My tarnished warrior being revived by grace in the place between the opening cutscene and the starting area of the game. She rests laying on her side on cold sand with her head resting on her arms. The area around her is slightly foggy and dark. Her position is comfortable the release of death allowing her to finally rest. Her weapon, a simple club, rests nearby in the sand. She has tanned skin and red hair with 2 long scars across the left side of her face one from the corner of her eye to her cheekbones and the other from the corner of her mouth down to her jawline. Her clothing is minimal consisting of a battered chest wrap and loin cloth. A shard of golden Grace tracing a faint particle path gently hovers over her hand. A golden glow illuminates a small portion of her upper chest, face, and gently shines over the surface of her long nails. Her left eye slightly opens and takes in the light as the call from Grace returns her to life.

Drawing had been a bit of a struggle lately. I end up not really liking what I've been making. After some thought I truly believe I haven't been courageous enough with my art, taking too few risks, not being bold enough.

This is the result of my introspection. Inspired by my latest Elden Ring run.
