Well, no, probably not just burgers to me, but I definitely have a particular disposition

I find it much easier to passively imagine shoveling a bakery's worth of stock down my maw than anything else, honestly, but it's not like buffets aren't asking for the same treatment

I don't know if it's just me who thinks this, but I sorta think there's two types of feedees- those who like greasy, fatty foods and those who enjoy sweet, baked treats

Personally, I'm the latter and feel dainty asf, but the only thing I can imagine eating to fatten up other than those are burgers

If you're not big and burpy then I don't know what to tell you other than you're missing out^^ 💨

Oh yeah, I know about the mods; I just personally want something in-house that doesn't require more than figura itself to work

I think another issue is that if you WANT to get fatter, you need to drop your hunger bar somehow, which means you have to move or take damage, etc, and it just either feels unnatural or in some cases ridiculous (create mod hand crank)

Right now I think to most effective way to make it work is by comparing how much the food value has changed between ticks for weight gain, but then calculate an exhaustion value for weight loss and use that to dictate it (the actual exhaustion function doesn't do shit I think)

I also tried making it so food scales exponentially depending on how filling it actually is, so you're incentivized to eat heftier meals in general

But unless you're playing like a fatass, not moving and eating when you drop half a pip, it feels pretty stagnant from my experience with it

Loss usually ends up feeling stronger than weight gain depending on what you do, but in minecraft, you are moving around a LOT in general so it's a bit hard to balance

I tried to offset this by limiting weight loss in some aspects, such as it not occurring when saturated but that doesn't feel right

I want to get back to the actual figgy-ura weight gain stuff again, but having it work reasonably is a bit tough, mainly the weight gain and loss itself

It's not that I don't know how to make it, it's that when I do, it feels pretty one-sided in terms of whether gain or loss is "stronger"

I dunno why Bluesky makes the quality of stuff so low if it's a big image

i was experimenting with trying to detect if i was between blocks but i don't have it completely nailed yet, so right now i'm only checking if there is a block with the tag for doors at my position or so

i don't think figura has any easy way to do it, i think you need to use matrices for that stuff
