I had books and models, I wanted to be an archaeologist, and at college I took Classical Civilisations (having branched out to Ancient Greece and Rome). I'm now going over Greek mythology with my kid. went through an emo phase which waned when had my kids. It turns out those years were the actual phase and I've returned to alt/emo in my 30s. I've questioned my gender identity and sexuality many times. A close loved one went through a few phases, as a lesbian, a non-binary person, and finally (for now) a gay trans man. NONE of these "phases" have hurt anyone. They didn't hurt me, they didn't hurt anyone around me, and it didn't make a difference when going through multiple phases or returning to earlier ones. a "It's just a phase" is not a reason to be dismissive or unsupportive. No one is born a complete person. People fluctuate and change. ThatSpicyStitch
People try to dismiss being nonbinary as “just a phase”. For many of us, the phase is a lifetime long. But for others, it may be just aphase, as they explore and learn more about themselves. AND THAT IS PERFECTLY VALID!! People should be able to explore and experiment. Let them!
