* Focus on kindness and lifting people up
* Even if an artistic idea isn't my first choice (as long as it's harmless), I aim to be encouraging, because everyone has different styles and that makes life interesting and fun
* Working to be less bothered by rude people

(Pt.4) I feel like even if you don't like the plant or the idea, there are so many ways to share that or even suggest other ideas in ways that are kind and encouraging.

I'm still considering my idea and thinking of other potential plants to sub in, purely because that interaction diminished joy.

(Pt.3) Their immediate response was to make a sour face and exclaim that they felt triggered because they don't like that plant, then proceeded to complain about it, turning the focus to them.

This made me feel small and had me rethink my idea, which is silly. I keep mulling over this interaction.

I'm dealing with an individual who behaves this way regularly and am struggling with holding kindness towards them.
