I love Eric Masterson so much.
This is what it's like leaving for work early in the morning and crossing paths with my neighbor who's just coming home from the afters.
New Kacey Musgraves incoming (!!), along with new Nick Shoulders and new Charley Crockett.
"Walking around NYC in spring" soundtrack is about to be most pleasing to me.
How many anti-capitalist politicians are there? Maybe you could count them on one hand if you squint and grade on a curve. So for all the talk about the purity tests of the left and so on you may suck my dick.
If no democrat is going to listen to people who are getting fucked and then give them a healthy outlet to work against that then it's leaving it all open to malicious actors to direct that energy elsewhere.
I don't know how you can call Captain America's famous and long-standing "shoes that go on top of his boots" extraneous.
Next you'll be critiquing his tactical fleece vest or his overgloves.
Today’s #comics mail call!
First time painting some Animated Dinobots!
#TFcon #transformersanimated #dinobots #grimlock #transformers
These really are perfect for "I wouldn't buy it on its own, but..."
Do I care about a bunch of Dejah Thoris pinups? No. Will I happily leaf through both (?!?) volumes of them once? Sure!
Also a Ramona Fradon book and a Tekken visual history!!
There is a TON of Vampirella in here if, like me, you enjoy very silly Vampirella pin-ups.
Do they let you turn of reposts for individual users here? I feel like I've tried before and can't find the option.
But yes, you are 100000% right - sage advice.
Wild - it looks like it was open when I lived right down the street but I have no memory of every going there. Too bad!
Wait really?? Where was that? I lived in Bushwick ~2013 and prior to that in Willamsburg ~2006 - I must've missed that one!
Lmao
This mfer said "to drunk on."
Fun though when you have the occasion to be like "oh so THAT'S why that TV show was so fucking stupid."
Following a bunch of comics folks on here means you sometimes see truly awful Lib-posting and it takes a minute to realize that it's meant earnestly and not to drunk on how dumb it is lol
In the brief instant before I block them, and to the extent they aren't bots, those people make me sad.
All the shit happening around us just like, hollowed them out.
Kirby is maybe my favorite dialogue writer in comics.
Maybe second after Keith Giffen, but it's close!
At some point in the last 10-15 years all sci-fi writers collectively decided "wow mushrooms are fucked up they can probably do space magic" and I'd love to figure out who Patient Zero was for that.
Oh yeah, that's a really good comparison. I tend to like the Young Justice looks, especially when compared to what was going on in the comics at the time when random seams and lines were getting drawn all over EVERYthing.
Sorry I'm not sure what you're talking about.
This is what it's like leaving for work early in the morning and crossing paths with my neighbor who's just coming home from the afters.
I feel like there was a whole period where everyone was getting worse and worse versions of their (perfect) Cockrum looks.
Kurt really gets it the worst because his classic look is SO simple and perfect that any deviation from it looks extra clunky.
Could people on Star Trek eat food in the holodeck? I can't remember, but maybe it's something like that.
Yeah, I think Powers of X #6 was basically the end of the X-Men story writ large, but you could have mined a LOT of material from writers who took that as a base premise to work off of.
I think Breevort specifically is annoyed that they can't just do straightforward nostalgia slop.
This weird "soft Krakoa" has such an air of "fine, HERE" to it.
I know they didn't like how mean the X-Men were to humans during the Krakoa era so I assume that's why the conflict here is intra-mutant.
My preference is always for a brassy, confident Rogue and I don't mind them getting a little cheesecake with it, for sure.
