We lucked out this time. We got zero snow this time. A little too far north in New England.

My sympathy and empathy. I lost our old girl a couple of weeks ago and am still always looking around thinking I see her out of the corner of my eye. I am searching for a replacement now.

Hi and good morning to Brenda and all the blues. Got a foot of snow still here to deal with. I will have to skip the beach today. It will pass sooner or later and we will be okay.

Here is another story for you. I have been reluctant to share this with the group. My first dog who I had in 7th or 8th grade I named Foxy. I loved her dearly.

Makes a good story these days though.

Scared me to the max. I tend to worry.

I remember the '78 blizzard very well Foxy. It came on the day that my younger daughter was born. I'm a Vermonter and we got about 3 feet from that one. Our midwives could not make it out to our rural house to attend the birth so it was my mother who waded up the hill to be there for the birth.
