A blue jay from Beanie Babies named Rocket which was given out during a Toronto Blue Jays game in 1998. The ticket stub is resting in front of him with a commemorative card resting behind him.

Dug up this relic from a game my family went to back in 1998. Hoping it brings us some luck!

Its so weird. The meat is pale and not bright orange like salmon usually is (I'd imagine due to their diet in the lake vs ocean diet) but it tasted like a really mild salmon??? It was surprisingly good and I'm looking forward to trying more

The vet visit was... Not good.

She may have mammary tumors and I'm spending about $600 in tests.

If they come back poorly, she has to get a $6000 surgery to remove all of her glands since the tumors are aggressive.

Caught a Coho salmon for the first time over the weekend! Had some troubles identifying it since it looks pretty similar to a rainbow trout. Really neat to catch a different species!

Salmon fishing was super hot this weekend! Lots of fights and tons of hookups with @anyare.art

We even did our first harvest this year and will be smoking those up, probably next weekend 😁

Salmon fishing was on fire yesterday! Lots of hookups and landed two fish. I also decided to harvest one, so that was an experience! @phiro.bsky.social and I had a great time fishing the fresh run of fish.
