The answer to yesterday's colour question has now been answered! Had an amazing time bouncing around this store and trying on different corsets, and can't wait until my new corset is ready!!!

Green, Purple, or Blue? A very difficult decision may have to be made tomorrow...

The wife and I carved some pumpkins tonight. Are we artists? No. Did we have a ton of fun doing so? Absolutely!

Also, I've learned my lesson, I should have known better. Couldn't watch game 1 and they won, watched game 2 and they lost. Guess I'll be glued to watching the score and the highlights after!

Adventures were had today! Took a drive out to Merrickville and had fun wandering in and out of the little shops. Topped off the day with allll the ice cream, and I'd say that it was a pretty solid way to spend a Saturday ^.^

Was surprised with this beautiful lego set last week as a gift from a visiting friend. Had some supervision while working on it 😸

Just sent you a DM! (there's no shortage of people who know, but because of some factors, I'm picking and choosing what I post publicly).

I hear there is a line forming if the individual responsible is ever caught. But I can't say I'd turn down that offer!

And yes, there is very little that can leave me seething mad, and Friday night I certainly was. But even with that situation it was turned around into a great outcome by people who came together and a generous individual who went above and beyond. So overall, the good wellll outweighs the bad.

So this is a tad late, but I hid away a bit after a very busy few weeks. Canfurence was really a fantastic weekend. I can't thank my incredible team enough! Had the chance to spend time with friends new and old, and just a really overall great time. And I will forever be haunted by the number 69

All that said, I'm sorry we didn't get more time to chat this time around, but I'm really happy to hear you had such a good time ^.^

Re: moving the Charity room, I actually disagree on this one. Yes, more foot traffic is nice (& always wanted), but in how the con space is currently, the Charity benefits from having its own room. That being said, we're already planning new safety measures that will be put in place for next year.

He then went above and beyond, not only doing that, but created a whole badge and print for whoever won the new tag in the auction. He didn't have to do that, and it was incredibly generous of him to do so.

However, I also want to make sure it's shared about those who stepped up to take a bad situation and make it so much better. The fursuit team got us a blank tag, and we asked IronRaptor (the GoH) to write 420 on it and maybe initial/doodle on it.

So, because there is no video footage or hard proof of the tag being stolen, the most we can say is that 'it grew legs and walked off' - but I'm pretty sure everyone who knows me can guess what my reaction was when it was discovered on Friday evening.

As we close the chapter on this year's event, we are truly grateful for everyone that joined us on this journey. Together we have made history for CanFURence by having:

I was also super excited to see Daughtry the next day, and he didn't disappoint. Managed to grab a crazy great spot (one of the pics below isn't zoomed in, that's how close I was). Fantastic show and an amazing time!!

Bluesfest wrapped up last night, and although I'm exhausted I'm also riding one hell of a high from the last few nights. Green Day put on one of the best shows I've seen at the fest. It was a hell of a show.

Survived the first week of Bluesfest. Parents came to town for the festival on Sunday and we had a really fun time being in the crowd for Alan Doyle and Shania Twain. It's been 14 yrs since I saw Great Big Sea, and it was a lot of fun to revisit those memories. On to week 2, Def Leppard tomorrow!
