Idrk much about this, but from what I understand (again, I'm really unsure) the tech which destroys jobs *does* make new jobs, but its alot less then what was originally there.
Like, email means we need drastically less postal services, but how many jobs did email make?

I think if there was not as much stigma surrounding it, Ai art would be far more widespread. Ik wizards of the coast said that 100% of their art was going to be AI generated, and whilst yeah, there was some issue, and yeah they did get backlash, it was mostly un-noticeable before you looked for it

I imagine its a much more vocal resistance for artists because artists are inherently more vocal due to their field of work.
(also the average artists is probably going to have more non-artist interest in what they say over other fields ig)

Idk, it's just the focus on artists is kinda interesting. Just cause, artists aren't the only people who are losing their jobs to AI ( not saying that it's ok because it's happening to everyone).
With artists, I thought the moral issue that people specifically took up was the whole plagiarism issue

Genuine question, is AI art, from a model trained ethically (only art that has been officially licensed or given permission used in the model) still pose and ethical issue for you?

for hydra, i think torp would be better, 'cause it covers all the bases that hydra needs (it locates enemys, paints your feet, can get enemys under ledges, etc(?))
