It's another great week of BookBreak author talks! The amazing Lois Lowry will be speaking to elementary and middle school subscribers about Number the Stars and Dr. Yohuru Williams and Michael G. Long will be discussing their adaptation of King: A Life with middle and high schools.
We had an incredible conversation with @halseanderson.bsky.social today about her relevant and important book, Speak. High school students around the country sent in thoughtful questions as we tackled some difficult topics. We hope you had a chance to watch with your students.
Our Author in Residence program started today! We are writing poetry with the effervescent @alicefayeduncan.bsky.social . We had an amazing start, exploring how poetry can make you feel things differently and looking at a few different types. There are six new poetry mini lessons available now.
We had the best time singing along with Eric Litwin today! He shared about his many books and reminded us to stay positive and focus on the delightful small things. It was the best way to start a Monday! What was your favorite part?
