Fate is a trio of sisters; plain, elderly, and with a stern look on their faces. But respectable, civil grand dames who mean no harm or ill will.... unless when provoked by anyone foolish enough to even think they could cross these cosmic grandmothers.
Sadly no, the killer makes a getaway. But karma is one crafty woman.
The Killer gets killed in the Hindenburg disaster.
But that still doesn't excuse or justify murder
The reason nobody misses/feels sorry for Blanche's murder is because Blanche is a haughty, snooty, snobbish, inconsiderate, petty she-hound.

But part of her story is not to indulge excessively in fantasy, but to balance it with responsibility, as one grows older. She doesn't have to give up one or either one. But to keep it in balance. Which is why she became a writer.
