We absolutely have the right to protest that’s not up for debate. Holding law enforcement accountable and protecting civil rights should go hand in hand. If agencies are involved, transparency matters. People aren’t asking for chaos, they’re asking for their rights to be respected and protected.

After it became known that Jeffrey Epstein was under investigation in the 2000s, one of the first calls the Palm Beach police received was from Donald Trump. “Everyone has known he’s been doing this,” Trump told the police chief.

That quote is damning on its own. If everyone has known, for years, the real scandal isn’t just Epstein, it’s how many powerful people knew and did nothing. Calls like that raise serious questions about who acted, who looked away, and why accountability took so long.

This teenager saved his neighbor's dog from drowning in a freezing pond. This is Bernard. His family contacted emergency services right away, but high school senior Hugh Pinneo got to Bernard first. Hugh said he's "just glad I acted that day and saved the dog's life." We are too. 12/10 for all

It isn't an empty gesture, it may not do anything now, but it's a signal to history, and to the world and to ourselves, that this is not ok.
