Obviously a disappointing result, but huge mention for Kian Hire.
20 years old, on debut, and more than held his own against two props with 150+ professional appearances under their belts. Outstanding start for a young tighthead, hopefully we see much more next season.
Our season summed up perfectly in one game.
Start poorly but just about stay in it, somehow get back into a really good position with some really good play, then slip up majorly right at the end and miss out.
