Is there a chance Dems will change the hodge hodge of causes to one simple understandable cause...compassion towards harmless people. LGBTQ, immigrants, DEI, poverty, vaccine etc. They are harmless. Every conservative knows that. Stay focused. No matter how hard the GOP tries to stir up fear.

Raised in conservative Christianity, I remember the silly rules, no movies, no cards, no alcohol, no dancing. Morning church, Evening altar calls, Wednesday prayer. A whole harmless culture. Not today's weaponized faith gleefully crushing immigrants, LGBTQ and all DEI. Not my religion.

Is it possible that the U.S. is cutting its own throat by its anti-climate change policy? Isn't it likely that by the time the U.S. recovers from its ignorance the rest of the nations will have detached and left us behind?

Currently the most persecuted religion? Really? Tell that to the Druze in Syria, Muslim's in Kashmir, Buddhists in Tibet, Houthi in Yemen. Etc. While other factors are involved, these are primarily religious persecutions. Today's Christians who think they are persecuted are just ignorant.

@fsfp.bsky.social My response to the Kirk news. 1) We can all agree it was tragic and criminal. 2) We can all agree in hoping his family receives care and compassion. 3) The right wing promoting 'free speech' while threatening Kirk's critics, is contemptible hypocrisy. Are they disingenuous??

Given the accelerating devastation of habitats by climate change, the increased technology aiding tyranny, and the abyssal rift expanding between the richest and the poorest, I can't see how a reduction in human population can be anything but good.
