If you've never been to Gaza, you won't appreciate what the yellow line means. Basically Israel now holds most of Gaza's small but important agricultural land. Continued Israeli occupation, which I judge the likely outcome, makes Gaza even more unliveable and more dependent on outside goods.

I just called. Got a young man. I asked him if it was true that ICE is staying at their hotel. He sighed & said it’s a rumor on social media and they’re getting a ton of calls, but they don’t have ICE renting rooms. No idea if that’s true. I ended the call saying it’d be shameful to have them there.

I want to believe that, but, it’s obvious from this past election that voters have very short attention spans. I’m not convinced they’ll even remember this in a year.
