Nope- I have no proof of that. But (1) Biden wasn’t Pres of Israel. His team trued to restrain BiBi . People KNEW if Trump won the Palestinians would be in an even worse position, but, sure let’s teach those DEMS who weren’t forceful enough a lesson by electing a guy who is fine w/ elim Palestine.

What I do know is that we have had two incredibly smart, experienced women with good plans to help the average person, but sexism and racism was more prevalent than we thought. And corporate greed- let’s not forget greed. Our lives would be so different now.

I knew we had a misogyny problem when Hillary didn’t get elected. My daughter took a sabbatical, moved to Ohio to work on her campaign. She was devastated with how the Dems pushed Biden out. Regardless of how people felt about him/age. He was the only person who ever beat Trump. Was she right?🤷🏼‍♀️

Few ppl are more to blame for the US’ descent into authoritarianism than Mitch McConnell. He broke all the normal Senate rules”rules/norms” to essentially steal 2 SCOTUS seats. Lowered courts have held, but SCOTUS has given Trump so much power. History won’t be kind to Mitch, nor should it.

I’ve told the story sorry if it’s a repeat. At 15 I had a German foreign language teacher. I read the Rise & Fall of the 3rd Reich prev. So I asked her how did the German people let it happen? She said people were living their lives and it just happened. I was appalled. Now we’re seeing the same.

I take your point that media is far quicker to criticize DEMS than GOP. I think it used to be to balance the criticism that they were left leaning. Now I think it’s because majority of outlets are owned by corporations. Seeing the media capitulate even before the election has been horrific.

That feels very much like the protest votes we saw in Nov- “Biden wasn’t forceful enough about BiBi so we won’t vote OR vote 3rd party” giving the guy who wants Gaza as a beachfront RE deal all the power. DEMS SHD be stronger abt it, but the alternative has been disastrous for Palestinians.

Honestly, I think it shd have been a 5 alarm fire starting right after the election. Because it wasn’t, I think citizens thought -ok it’ll be the usual party politics in Congress, but we saw the GOP rubber stamp everything. 3 co equal branches of govt- the only one marginally holding is the courts

They should encourage protests, Schumer & Gillibrand shdn’t have yelled at DEMS wanting to vote no on spending. What I want .. …For starters lots of talk during the election of democracy being on the line, then instead of saying that if the GOP was going to rubber stamp everything they’d have to do it alone. The DEM caucus wld deny, delay & hold daily pressers clearly stating bills/appts hurt democracy.
