“I- again, sorry, I do really need to work on that. I’m not good at…socializing.” Unika exhaled, turning to face Aubrey with a sheepish expression. More like a kicked puppy type look.

“N-No. Sorry, I-I can stop.” And that got Unika to start curing at herself internally. She was clearly being overbearing and overwhelming. This was a dumb idea. “I’ll be going. Sorry to bother you.”

“It’s nice to meet you, Aubrey. Also, I love your hair. And your outfit. You look really cool.” Unika snaps her fingers lightly as she gave the compliment.

“I wouldn’t say it if I didn’t mean it. You’re welcome. I’m Unika, by the way.” She let go of her weapon, which just hovered above the ground with the flat side facing upward. “You?”

“I’m just strong.” The compliment allowed a smile to tug at Unika’s lips. “I like your bat. It’s less grand, sure, but it stands out more than something like mine because of that. I think that’s also pretty cool.”

“That is correct.” Unika rips the thing out of the ground with one hand so Aubrey can see it better. An unintentional show of strength.

“Blunt weapon, railgun, and a motorcycle.”

“You know, for some reason, I think I probably could help.” Unika gestured to some mechanical thing planted in the ground she was leaning on. Jesus, was that some type of sword…thing?

“My apologies. Do-do you need help with it?”

“Cadet. Take it or leave it.” Unika picked up the weapon off the ground, pointing the blunt side facing the ground as it starts to hover. Yep, it’s a hovering motorcycle, too. A helmet materializes in her hands in a flash of light. “I should be going. It was nice spending time with you, Miss Ashe.”

“I made mistakes. Mistakes that hurt people. Even though it wasn’t my fault, I still wish to help where I can, so people can trust me, and I can begin to like myself.”

Unika bites her tongue to stifle a little laugh, walking over to her. “Not the worst way to mess up. Not bad for a rookie~” She fully snickered, extending a hand to Ashe to help her up.

“I want to help people. My atonement is nearly complete, but I feel as though I need to help people who need it in order to grow. That’s the simple version.”
