I can’t believe it needs to be said but some of you act like you can’t watch a show when there’s villains in it. No Velvette and Valentino helping to destroy the cannon doesn’t mean “they’re now good and Charlie forgives them.” They did it because their reputations and lives were on the line.

Also him going back narratively makes sense. Complaining he didn’t kill Val yet as if that ever gonna happen this season or was even implied like??? You know if they just inserted that it would be an ass writing decision, right? We writers call the current situation “buildup”.

In Ep 6 we already see Angel not feeling worthy of redemption . So this was coming. It was something that just build up
