I enjoyed your book, have used the chapter on AI in a lab meeting, lent out my copy to a student, and bought a copy for another student.

Researcher jumping obstacles
Unexpected perk of writing a book: meeting readers to help them go from idea+data to publication
If you bought the book/borrowed from your advisor, friend, library, etc please DM/email me to meet and get those ideas into papers!
(may be obvious but: This is 100% free!)

How did North American and European fungi end up in Argentine forests?
New research in @newphyt.bsky.social from UE @nahpo.bsky.social and @martin-nunez.bsky.social looks underground at how non-native tree species and their fungal partners have spread.

20.09.2025 12:07 โ ๐ 8 ๐ 4 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 1I get them from google scholar. It gives you the formatted version. And this is for the new ones. old ones you can get them from previous documents.
But yes, if you are very familiar with your library in zotero etc you still want to work with zotero.
I think that endnote etc. are dead.
I just asked ChatGPT to change references in a proposal from APA style (last names, year) to Science style (numbers) and it did it very well... wow....
People also use reference software to keep track of what they read and to make comments on it, but I still....
I have thoroughly loved reading this book. Like many I struggle to write on blank pages but there is a lot of great wisdom in this book and I suggest all early career scientists to read it. Thank you @martin-nunez.bsky.social for sharing your wisdom and experiences with us!
