Careful which tiktok (/reels/YT shorts) these are mainly a younger less affluent audience so you probably won't get a ton of coms from there

It's a reach platform, it should be used to move audiences onto other platforms like YT or Twitch or Merchandise!

4) Video killed the radio star

Do Video content... Sorry. But it does go a long way in our current social media landscape. Right now there's no app thats doesn't prioritize video over images because of retention times.

3) Bread, live, bread

Make a piece that'll do well, then make one for you and repeat. A freelance designer that runs a studio for 24 years told me, " I do jobs I don't care about to fund the things I do care about." Social media is a job you get to pick. So balance the good and bad for longevity!

2) Performance!

Story is actually really important to both good art and good marketing. In an AI world, authenticity captures attention!

- Can you show the viewer how you struggled and succeeded to make the art?
- what can you teach the viewer?
- How do I build a CLEAR world around my art?

1) People call it "understanding your audience"
but it's not just, "Who do you want to target?"
