Cal State union stages first of one-day strikes over faculty salaries As Cal State rejects a 12% increase in faculty salaries, the California Faculty Association stages the first of four one-day strikes.

As far back as May the faculty at the CSU threatened to strike if management wouldn’t meet their demands.
