Yesterday I did a lot of biking to turn in employment forms, had a wonderful beach date, and my Pikmin walked so very far. Good gravy are you kidding me

- playing violin is one of my main things! my favorite genres to play are irish fiddle, jazz, and eastern european folk music. i've played in a lot of different groups, and helped to start the orchestra class at my high school! - also yes i love composing music! admittedly..... i don't have a lot of *completed* songs i can show off, but i have lots of outlines and am always improvising. also, last spring, one of my pieces was played by my community college orchestra, which was the coolest thing ever! - i also really like singing and acting. like with violin, i've been in different school singing groups over the years, as well as several different plays & operas. - on a semi-related note, i haven't talked much in calls, but i do love being loud and boisterous around friends when i'm able to (also being physically wacky for in person bits) - i like writing poetry, oc stuff, and lore for dnd with friends (dnd is another thing i like doing but we're extremely relaxed on rules and make up our own stuff for everything) - for art, i really like doing sprite portraits, but also traditionally draw and paint. my girlfriend lilac and i go to this zine club frequently and it's made me want to start doing zines and also learn to weave or do crochet!

- editing videos is something i really don't do much anymore, but it's always fun, since i love timing things properly and giving musicality to stuff. new MF DOOM bionicle amv about vakama coming sometime - i love being active in nature and learning about geographic processes. i bike very frequently and go on lots of walks / am starting to hike. i like to do volunteering like pulling invasive plants + replacing them with new ones, in addition to doing cleanups at local creeks/parks. also lilac knows tons of birds, so i'm trying to learn more plants, and then we can be an unstoppable identification force! - i love crystals and minerals! i love them! i have a cool collection of 'em and want to learn as much about them as possible. i also want to start growing them once i move! - my girlfriend lilac is so awesome/smart/pretty/funny, writes such amazing music, and makes such incredible art. we're always talking about sea creatures. she isn't too active online, but when she posts stuff, i'll be sure to share it! - just as one last fun fact: i can play violin, viola, cello, upright bass, piano, ukulele, clarinet, alto saxophone, flute, bassoon, and percussion. this school year i'll learn to play trumpet, trombone, horn, tuba, and guitar! when you're studying to be a music teacher, you need to know so many things lol!

i wrote a pretty long list of things about myself in this one server and i thought it'd be fun to post it here. sometimes i kinda feel like a mystery or quiet in some places where i wanna talk more, so yeah, this is just a whole bunch of jem fun facts!

Also, this is one of my main specific Undertale memories:
I finished the pacifist route as a fire had been going on a bit north of me. Reaching this moment at a time when I felt so powerless didn't make me feel like I could stop it all, but it did heavily resonate with me in a way I can't forget.

I'm also majoring in music education, and have been feeling nervous about it due to the way culture in America seems to be shifting. However, these new chapters of Deltarune not only reassured me that there will always be good people, but it also showed me again how important a good teacher can be.
