I'm re-reading Hush in compact edition, and I pause here because it was this cover of Batman #614 that caught my attention in a Barnes & Noble while I was attending Syracuse University and drew me back into actively reading comics and greatly expanding from what I read growing up.

I read 1,036 comic books in 2025, and wow, what a way to finish. All five first issues of Assorted Crisis Events by @denizcamp.bsky.social were amazing, and the last page of issue #5 was the perfect way to end the year.

Finally did a deep dive reading the original The Authority run and some related graphic novels. Can tell what an impact these stories had on modern super teams. And some really unique tales.

Four volumes of "The Terrifics" paperbacks

The Terrifics was a fun adventure. I didn't realize until I started it how Fantastic Four influenced it was. I liked the first two volumes the best. Bizarro, multiverse and even choose your own adventure stories followed and were absolutely crazy but still fun. "Go, Terrifics, go!"
