I would note that this disdain points in one direction. These legacy media outlets have been quick to cover and hype tea party protests, anti-mask/anti-vax protests, and countless other examples of what they call “real Americans” engaging in protest.

I was standing next to a man so old his skin was translucent. At various points during the speeches, he screams No Kings with a fury so righteous it was like he remembered the revolution.

When David Blight said let them know you as an enemy, he shook with emotion. That’s gotta mean something.

Because people who based their whole identity around insisting "Both sides are equally bad" can't just admit that a guy who wants to illegally stay in power, and is abusing his current office wantonly, literally putting soldiers on our streets, is trying to be a king. And the other side is not.
