Redoing it was the right call imo. Just a tiny note.. I hadn't really noticed till starting to paint the models that apparently among other things the flower in the "breastplate" denotes rank. So the sister squad all are "flowerless" but then Aveline gets these massive flowers...
BTW I'm scraping this, 😭 will at the very least do it instead walking forward towards us.
Initial render of the Sister, whether I add a power pack or not will depend solely on my (or lack thereof) ability to do perspective. The pistol is a placeholder, that'll be a flamer pistol by the end. I'll also try to animate this so that she and the templar are walking.
In Space Marine 2 its obviously a completely different weapon, in the old art of it, it's more of a squished bolt rifle 🤔
obsessing over them pistols again. Btw something I noticed, when I made Litany of Hate I actually based myself on the wiki version of a bolt pistol. (It's obviously stylized so I was trying to make it more "realistic") Some people confused it, and I noticed why.. its SM2.
Confessions part of the reason why I have been avoiding space marine content is cause... well not only does the model suck but I suck at doing space marines in illustrations. Go on throw the tomatoes.
