The more I think about it, the more the Half-Life series just feel like middle-of-the-road shooters with so many new set pieces and such a drip feed of new gear that it doesn’t get old by the end. And physics bragging in games.

Really was one of the dumbest and most harmful things possible for “virtue signaling” to become some kind of epithet. Sending externally visible signals that you are engaging in pro-social behavior is normal, natural, and good, it’s how society works. Other people can’t read your fucking mind.

I’m not Hank or a scientist, but I would think this isn’t true because the amount of air in houses and buildings feels comically small compared to the air outside. I would expect minimal, if any, temperature difference of the air outside unless you’re standing by the AC’s air outlet.

Still got Half-Life Alyx to play though!

I don’t agree that it was bad, and I think it was a technological marvel of the time

But I will say I enjoyed my play-through of Half-Life 1 much more than Half-Life 2 base game.

Can’t wait to get my PC set up and get back to it!
