My dad was at this game to see Celtic win only their second trophy since he went to his first game. He was 14 years old at the time. No wonder he thinks this is the best era of his Celtic supporting life. Thatโ€™s despite seeing the lions every week. We live in good times Ken.

Look where Sutton starts his run from. Incredible amount of ground and then the stutter in the box to let the defender run past him. Genius.

His biography Iron Man is the best Celtic book in my opinion. Tremendous read.

Agree Ken. Terrific player who could do things with the ball that others only dream of. Not bad considering how huge his feet were!!

That was a lovely story. Memories are more precious than gold.

A fantastic crosser of the ball. Big Pierre was lucky to have him.

Paul McStay. He was playing when I went to my first game. I was desperate to see Charlie Nick but from that day I knew I was watching a proper player. McStay was without equal in Scotland during his time. I wish now heโ€™d went on to better things to show what he could do but he was happy at Celtic.
