I could have taken the easy out and posted FLCL but I’ll leave that for @hcmjmagic.com
Bacanno! has a wonderful OST if you like Cowboy Bebop’s more straight-ahead jazz tracks. It’s also a fun romp with lovable characters, and not over-the-top zany.
It sounds great acoustically and through the amp, and it’s incredibly lightweight. I also don’t feel like I’m going to dislocate my shoulder hugging it. I just need to put some proper strings (flats) on it and get to compin’.
New (to me) guitar day!
Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II P90 in Cognac Burst finish.
Traded in a couple of guitars I wasn’t playing (and whose tonal ground was easily covered by others I actually play), and managed to get this for under $200.
I’ve been itching for a hollowbody and this fits nicely.
I think one of the guitarists in Man or Astro Man plays one of these

Music in Continuous Motion
Orcutt's latest work for his virtual quartet is his most symphonic yet, a worthy companion to Steve Reich's 'Electric Counterpoint' and Sonic Youth's flawless SYR run

This happened around here with the Samuel Smith’s Christmas Ale a few years ago. Bars were selling them at $1 a pop.
I thought it was okay, definitely did my part helping them get rid of it 😅
Yeah I’ve noticed that trend too unfortunately. I like them the first time I try them and then never again.
Maybe we can bring about the craft barleywine craze?
I really liked sours when I first got into beer, but I overdid it and can’t handle more than one every so often. I think goses are partially responsible for making me ehhh on sours too.
I’ve been here for a while now. I can still remember when the craft IPA craze started, at least once I could legally drink and was faced with cooler after cooler of nothing but hoppy bitterness.
Why can’t there be a craft porter or brown ale craze?
The big one for me that was possible within my lifetime is Fugazi. They’re one of my favorite bands but they went on indefinite hiatus just a year or two before I discovered them.
Sonic Youth is a close second for similar reasons but moreso due to not discovering them until relatively late in life.
I have noticed that shops without a dedicated reggae section tend to have world sections that are mostly reggae 🤔
Post a great photo of a musician
