If you are TN-7 and did the deed, send me a DM with snail mail address and I will forward apology.
When I was working in downtown Nashville way back in 2011, I saw a man clipping his toenails in front of a sushi bar. I heard it before I saw it. Life is a rich tapestry.

Unfamiliar levels of hope going on over here.
Aftyn winning will be reward enough, but Wallace deserved better.
A bun stopped by today
I went to this Joann's with my mom a few years ago to take a crochet class, and we were both terrible at it, really bad. While walking through the parking lot at the end, my mom said, "You know what? Fuck crochet."
Had some solid toad time in the backyard after the rain.

We've been here before.
They also buy me salmon sometimes, just saying.
This is what my job gave me for Administrative Professional's Day. I would have preferred a raise that matched inflation, but the owner has two planes to feed. #administrativeprofessionalsday
Blessed and highly favored at the Catholic thrift store today. Purl Soho Gentle Giant in abundance for $25. #knitting #knitsky #yarnhaul #thanksfrank
One of my favorite photos I've ever taken. Griselda was one of my first senior fosters and she was beautiful and beleaguered.

Nearly six pounds of cookie dough now marinating in the fridge for three days.
Girl, I am TRYING so hard. π
I'm baking and knitting all day because it's all too much.
And, I understand that everyone has to eat. And it's mind blowingly cool that in a single second, the coyote had a detailed map in her brain based off what she was smelling. They're so smart, so adaptive.
But I hope that mama knew a shortcut to get back to her baby.
Time stood still until the coyote BOLTED down the street. The doe took off after, and looked like she was closing the gap until we lost sight of them.
Once recovering from being twenty feet from the whole thing, my sister went home and I sat on the porch for a while.
Then, from the backyard, a coyote came up. This was unusual, but not unheard of, I lived near a big city park.
The coyote and the deer locked eyes. My sister and I glanced at each other, both not believing what was happening.
Here is the story of one of the craziest animal encounters I've ever had. My sister was leaving my house and I was walking her out when we noticed a deer in the front yard. This was not unusual, but it's always a sacred moment, so we both watched her and she watched us for a couple of minutes.
I met this cool dog at the thrift store and just sat down to hang out when the manager came up and started yelling at me to put a leash on her. Thankfully, her actual people claimed her and put her leash on.
My friend was blessed to witness this beautiful Moose Pegasus on a truck trailer.

Our (beloved) dead parents (also beloved) dog has to have a really expensive and unexpected surgery on Monday (we're mostly confident of a successful outcome!) and my sister and I are being super normal about it. Posted with her permission.
The animal situation in my house is just crazy adorable tonight, holy shit.
My response to a friend asking me how I'm doing
I'm trying to lean on Creation Seratonin instead of Consumption Seratonin, so please enjoy a WIP pic of my first sweater project.
I made this a while back because I was thinking about cool flags I would fly if I wanted to get my ass kicked checking the mail.
Would you, too, like to live in the Sleepytime Tea cabin?
