PSA: What immigrants should know ahead of Trumpβs inauguration
Nonprofits have called for immigrants to stay alert, informed and, most important, to know they have rights under the law.
Trump is officially being sworn in on Monday, Jan. 20, for his second term.
He has promised the βlargest deportation program in American history," & fear is rising.
Here's what people should know to prepare for ICE, & everyone's rights under the law.

this is the difference between me on social media at 30 and me on social media at 45.
I'm not trying to do activism for an audience. and awareness without action is just anxiety.

HR28βthe federal ban on trans athletesβis expected to get a vote in congress TODAY.
it's the GOP's first step to making it a crime to exist as a trans person in public. that's not an exaggerationβthey brag about it on the news.

Thank you Netgalley and Joy Revolution Books for access to this e-ARC. All thoughts are my own.
My first five star read of the year! This book tugged on my heartstrings like no book has in a while. Following Sage's story as she tried to figure out the mystery was quite fun, and seeing her connect, but also struggle, with other people in town really captured how it can be in a small town life. I enjoyed getting to know all the side characters especially Mercer and Tiva. The development of the plot went at a steady pace and helped keep me focused the whole time I was reading. I also loved being able to see the ingredients that Sage was using in her tonic recipe. I consider myself spiritual, and loved seeing how the author represented spirituality and different kinds of "unusual" practices. The author also does an amazing job at not appropriating any culture or spirituality throughout the book. And the romance was just icing on the cake. I can't wait to see what else this author writes!
