My "Following" feed is the only useful one, the rest are just full of angry people and I am not interested in that
Green is my fav

Yeah perhaps itโs an account takeover. Or someone decided to karma farm. Either way, it sucks and has made me more skeptical of what I read on Hacker News which, until now, had felt like a pocket of the internet where I could get genuine opinions
The comment was flagged but another user quotes the bit with the prompt here - news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4361...
Itโs sad/dystopic to see people genuinely replying to slop accounts
I have noticed slop on Hacker news too
E.g. this account news.ycombinator.com/threads?id=g...
All of their responses contain an anecdote related to their โpersonal experienceโ in whatever the topic is.
I wouldnโt have noticed had one comment not included part of their prompt
I made a "Tech People from Twitter" list so you don't have to spend ages searching like I did!

15.05.2023 06:55 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0- Lessons of History by William Durant (incredible sweeping history of the world and I hate "history" books - only 100 pages)
- Three Body Problem series (book 1 is ok, book 2 and 3 are amazing)
- Project Hail Mary
I was like "fine then, don't show us the code" ๐

Nowadays she is happy and healthy with a penchant for chasing squirrels
28.04.2023 09:07 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We have since moved back to London where she has fit right in
28.04.2023 09:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0She quickly forgot she was a street dog and settled into her new life
28.04.2023 09:06 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0She needed a cone for the first 6 months to stop her itching, and little jumper to keep her warm until she put some weight on
28.04.2023 09:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0We needed to get her home to Bogotรก, but she was too ill to fly so our only option was a 28-hour bus
28.04.2023 09:05 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0It was hit and miss as to whether she would make it so we extended our trip and hoped for the best.
Once she was strong enough, we quickly found out that she loved cuddles
We knew she would die if we left her so we set off to take the saddest dog in the world to the vets
28.04.2023 09:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Back in April 2019, my wife and I were on holiday in Cartagena, Colombia when a sick and frail dog came and sat under our sun lounger.
So here is a little story (in pictures) about our gorgeous dog Mango:
