I have mended things at my stitch and bitch and there are definitely others who do the same. Mending frequently means more to bitch about, in fact.

This is what the reverse side looks like using a fake in the round swatch method with long floats along the back. I have definitely noticed it makes a difference to my swatch gauge to use this method instead of knitting flat when I will be knitting the project in the round.
