When I travelled this summer we had access to a bunch of lounges, but none of them we could get into. Either they were full, they didn't allow travelers to the US in (no seriously), or they just changed the rules that week to restrict access to our membership kind. We never got into a single one.

Having been used to going through LAX immigration and customs being a 1+ hour ordeal, this was pleasant surprise. We sailed right through.

Just went through LAX without global entry the other day. Probably 10 seconds. Didn’t even show passport or talk to a person - just a machine taking a quick photo. Now I don’t get the point of global entry.
