Compton, CA: A masked, heavily-armed man wearing body armor jumped out of a SUV today to kidnap a local resident.

Whether you love gas and diesel or wind and solar, making oil less critical would make Iran, Saudi Arabia, and blood-money hell the UAE/Dubai less relevant to the US. That makes Israel less important because we won't need our client state so heavily armed and protected by the US military.
