After my incandescent rage has subsided, I keep asking myself one question: What was the Dems endgame? Trump would never negotiate, @GOP is utterly corrupt, and Dems don't have the numbers. So, was there any outcome in the real world that would have satisfied us?

Not to be all bummer, but the chances of the Epstein Files becoming public anytime Trump is alive are basically 0. Hope I'm wrong about this, but they will stay buried as long as Trump is in power.

He is a nice guy and I do think he's one of the good guys, but we're in different situation as you see clearly. He should be primaried to see if he has the spirit for the fight (though I hope this nightmare is over by then).

Every Dem senator up for election in 2026 should be primaried, even the good ones. If they want to fight for us, let them fight for the job. Kaine, especially, should have a challenger in '30.

I think I'd start by primary challenges to every Senator coming up for election in 2026, even the good ones. If they want to fight for the people, they can start there. Maybe they need a little tough love to build some political muscle.

If I'm Republican I'm thinking of nuking the filibuster. There's literally no cost in doing so. Evidently the Democrats don't have the guts to do what needs to be done if they had the power.
