i love people when they talk about their interests/special Interests. I rather someone light up with happiness than misery. As a society, we need to learn to celebrate other people, their interests and personalities. Hate breeds through individualism. Let’s work together to spread love.

This is so true. I rather someone talk about an interest/special interest I don’t like or understand. You not only get to see them happy but that’s a good way to get closer to the person. I rather hear all about your interest than see you miserable.

As an individual with schizophrenia, I wanted to clarify that psychosis is not always hearing voices and talking back. It’s hearing faint sounds, thinking people are doing things to you when they aren’t etc. Stop stereotyping us and misunderstanding us.

Can everyone stop blaming us beautiful Muslims for every planned or carried out terrorist attack? We are not bad people.

Also, to my fellow Muslims, stay safe out there. We will be a target for white supremacists and Islamophobes.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but doctors must earn your trust, not the other way around. Doctors are supposed to be here to help YOU. Power struggles between between doctors and patients are all too common. Doctors sometimes need assertiveness or they’ll do what THEY feel is best.

And for real don't feel like you HAVE to stick w a doctor that refuses to listen to you. It can be a dehumanizing hassle, but you can almost always request a change of doctor (even if it's 'against hospital policy'), and you can also ask if there's anyone w exp dealing w [specific health issue(s)]

It sucks to have to beg to even eat, and then there’s people that are disgustingly rude. Majority of people who need direct mutual aid aren’t ’scammers.’ That was an idea invented by the far right because they don’t want marginalized individuals to receive support to live. They want us dead.

I have ADHD and I struggle with not having the proper medication because all the typical stimulants. I’ve thought about using meth. People are just trying to treat something that doctors won’t, in the best way they know how.

This, this and all of this. If you are giving someone money, you must trust that they will use it for what they need. I’ve never used anything other than Tylenol a couple times because my family believed in holistic meds. I’d NEVER THINK of judging those who use drugs. Wake up, society.
