The largest one in the center is longer than the plate. The others are shorter but only by a couple inches. By most standards they look overripe but this is typical for this variety.

I know they look overripe due to the yellowing, but that’s just how these are. They’re actually perfect for eating!

And, for us autists, we not only relate on the exceptionL senses thing, but we can connect with them via body language. Yes, we CAN read body language.

We often have difficulty reading it in humans because of weird social conventions, social masking, and people not being honest.

And, as you said, autistic and traumatized folks bond with them in ways most people won’t understand.

That unconditional love and acceptance. A safe friend who won’t hurt you.

I will never trust someone who shits on animals.

Domestic are friends, family, protectors. They are helpers & lifesavers. They help with disabilities, guard flocks, pull carts, provide food & clothing.

Wild provide beauty, spread seeds, nurture soil, & control insects & rivers.

Humans need them.

Brother lived with sister and her husband for a while, too.

The guys would regularly sneak up and tase each other.

That bathroom got cleaned often.

Fun info:

My former sister-in-law’s husband worked security. Husband & SIL’s brother were close so when brother brought his GF to a party, husband handcuffed them together.

Then tased the brother.

The ladies were unimpressed, but the guys were pleased to note the jolt didn’t traverse the cuffs.

Finally got new and functional glasses for the first time in over 20 years.
