There you go. What’s wrong with candid, that’s an art in itself and way harder than any model photography- cos as a photographer you need to be able to recognise the shot quickly, very quickly, no pose click, pose click - and hit the shutter in that instant.

Everyone knows how to lean on a wall for example but they can’t do it convincingly unless there is a certain vibe happening already in the shoot. And then there’s the light…

Probably sound up myself - just a vastly different approach is all.

I don’t believe this is something anyone can teach Mark. There has to be an internal trigger on behalf of the photographer for what is right or meaningful or resounding. Once there is, it doesn’t matter what you point the camera at. It’s more a matter of ‘seeing’ than anything to do with photography
