Collective Shout is an insidious org and I won’t defend them, but they aren’t pressuring itch to remove any SFW content. Itch CHOSE to hide and withhold payment from ALL games tagged Yuri/Yaoi/etc, harmfully labeling any LGBTQ+ game as sexual

They could release a guide on their official site that advocates for action while removing that detail. But... no, better to put the activism call in the hands of a random reddit user who is safely not affiliated with itch

What part of Visa's policies forbids the sale of SFW LGBTQ+ games? Or even NSFW games that don't have extreme themes?

This is blatant capitulation to christo-fascist extremist groups, not just a compliance to payment processors. What a shame

It's so disheartening to see so many creators who created SFW LGBTQ+ games are being deindexed along with this decision. Of course there are so many other things wrong here but that just made me sad to see.
