Releasing #ScottPilgrimEX in the same time window as Nioh 3, Mewgenics, Resident Evil Requiem, Pokopia and Slay the Spire 2 was definitely not ideal... Picking a release date isn't easy.

Yeah, man. After working on the game for so many years on a monitor, it was satisfying to see it crunched down to the res it was meant for and look the way it was meant to look. I weirdly had the thought "Wow...it works!"

Dang, that's awesome! I had the same experience with Suikoden 1, haha. My first JRPG and one that had a profound impact on me. Did the same thing with boss fights because the save points were so far apart for my undeveloped brain. 😂
Wow, Suiko 3 is an interesting choice! Definitely an underrated game, though I'm curious how 3 impacted you in a way 2 or even 1 didn't.
Close-quarters combat can require a lil strategy! Hollow around and strike when it counts!

Having a blast so far! Really feel the burst of speed with the X slide. Movement feel quite tight, too. I was worried it might be hard to control but it wasn't. Getting major RARE vibes along with a sprinkle of Zelda: Four Swords. Going to have to come back to this with friends + 3 more controllers!
