A real treat this morning when a hawfinch turned up in trees around a local park. An uncommon bird in #Fife. The huge bill is used for extracting seeds and even cracking open cherry stones. #wildlife #birding #hawfinch #nature

We’ve united with nature charities across Scotland call on the First Minister to stop #BerwickBank. If progressed it could be the deadliest windfarm for birds on the planet.

Green energy is essential for the #climatecrisis, but not at this huge ecological cost↙️

Wonderful to catch a pine marten on the wildlife camera right by the house. This is the closest of three recent sightings. They seem to be spreading well in North Fife now. Hopefully they will be an effective predator for grey squirrels. #pinemarten #mammals #wildlife #Fife
