Belated, but just as good?

"I just want you."

Poe was sincere. He was ready to settle down and have a family anyway, only the universe chose for him

And he had a good feeling about Tony.

"We will figure it out."

He draws even closer to Tony, if it was possible.

Poe knows Tony could have just as easily rejected him and their baby.

"I backup my earlier statement : you'll be a great father. I love you so much."

He runs his fingers through Tony's hair, a contented smile on his lips.

Poe seem seemed to perk up when he saw Tony was happy.

His fingers tug Tony's hair as his lips made contact with his warm lips.

"I love you."

Even more kisses run down Tony's neck.

"I'm in love with you."

"You aren't upset?"

Poe was panicking for a minute. Tony could have been just as upset and not wanted it. He seemed really happy about it actually which made him happy

to procreate on other planets. Unfortunately that meant mostly males. Apparently I'm so far from home the time I ran out and... I didn't think it was a real thing. I wouldn't have.... ...

"Not generally. It's not a common occurrence but there's an old tale about pilots that left the planet. It's some type of biological timer. Pilots didn't make it back would be able

"So that means you're pregnant."

Poe laughs weakly.

He chuckles for a moment for a moment then realizes it isn't Tony that's sick..

"Oh shit."

"How long was I asleep?"

It seemed like weeks.All he wanted to do with stay close to Tony.

"Is this an earthling thing?"

"You're the kindest man ive ever met."

Poe meets Tony's eyes, his own still puffy from hours of unnatural sleep.

"I hope this is passed. Ive never felt this weak."

Poe doesn't protest. He barely has the energy to keep his eyes open.

He takes the toast from Tony's fingers.

Tony had been so kind and attentive since he'd gotten sick. Patience of a saint.

He chuckles softly.

"You'd make a good dad."

Poe moves only to snuggle into Tony.

Poe kisses Tony's cheek and rests his head on Tony's shoulder

Poe turns over slowly, sleep still in his eyes.

He scoots up next to Tony.

You're amazing. Do you know that?

Tony... Im so tired.

Poe could hear him as he drifted. He tried to form the words on his lips, but his energy was gone.

"I'm so lucky."

He tries to scoot closer to Tony, already flush with his body.

Poe starts to nod off almost instantly.

He reaches out for Tony's hand,then pulls his arm around him.

Poe feels the ring he gave Tony on his finger, his body wanting to do more than be sick.

"You're mine. I love you so much."

"You're so good to me, Tony."

They finally make it to their bedroom, Poe almost collapsing onto his side.

"You're so sweet. I love you."

Poe chuckles weakly as Tony pushes the hair from his eyes

He stands, a bit unstable. Poe may have been sick longer than Tony knows.

He sheds his clothes then takes a step to Tony.

"I'm so tired."

"I'll try."

He pulls himself up to the side of the tub and sits for a moment.

"You don't want to catch whatever this is."

Poe sighs and looks up at Tony.

"Yes. Yes, but I don't know what may be different on the inside...

He shakes his head weakly.

"What if they find out? What I am?"

There was hardly any warning that time.

He's kneeling beside the toilet shaking his head.

"I don't feel so well."

"Just stay?"

Poe was relaxing into Tony's touch, when he sat up quickly, and all but ran to the bathroom.

Poe gets closer at Tony's words.

He still felt off. A weird feeling he can't shake.

"It's so weird."

"I don't want you to catch it."

He still scoots up anyway, not able to protest.
