Josephine’s sense of humor is much like Jack's: a mix of snarky, silly, and oftentimes absurd. She intentionally riles up her enemies by calling them funny names like Kraken’s arse, bilge scum, doltish jobbernowl, or a barnacle’s sweaty armpit! 🤣

Josephine’s crew can be quite superstitious. Ghosts, cats, and even having Jo (a woman…*GASP*) on board the ship can make them uneasy. Book 2 mentions it a few times.👇
