This is one of my favourite bugfixes because it was kind of accurate... you can't be hit if the game isn't running.

We posted a small update to the beta branch of our closed test today! All these changed will be rolled into Test #4. Again, this is only for backers who pledged a Town Council tier or higher.

There's a jazz soundtrack by Francisco Cerda (Gunpoint, Jamestown). We're hoping that if Early Access goes well we can get him and his talented musicians back in the studio to record even more tracks. 🎺

The test is going well. A few issues, including a rare crash-to-desktop, but we should only have to apply a quick hotfix patch before moving on!

- Finally, patch 5 will be open to 'Gold Tier' key backers, which is around 500 or so more backers than we have testing the game right now.

- Patch 3 should be delivered this weekend at the latest, and features an improved ability system, more stability, and 11 new spells and abilities!

- Magical spells and abilities will be much easier to add as we've standardised a number of systems.

- Patch #4 will be the final patch of this phase.

Only if you backed a Town Council (£65) tier or higher. If you didn't, we plan on slowly rolling out the current backer test to all backers as we add more patches, so watch your emails!

Think we set the record for a day 1 hotfix? The giant sand-flies in the backer test were set to FACTION_PLAYER, which would be fun and games if it weren't for the player needing to kill them to progress. 🤦

Anyway, patch 0.1.1 is now live on Steam. #gamedev
