We also had a lot of positive feedback from players telling us the whole game doesn't feel like a chaotic patchwork at all, and that visuals are very cohesive. I think we hit the sweet spot where it feels like that while playing it, yet participants didn't feel like a style was imposed on them.

Which means it had to be thought for artists who work with litteral color ramps and artist who work with more twisted ramps. In the end I was very happy with the feedback participants gave me on this.

(hence why the light purple and green colours pop up just a bit more than the rest) The goal was to provide a palette large enough so all participants could easily use it regardless of their style or level.

The main inspirations for Final Girl Liz palette were Scooby-Doo and old classic spooky Disney movies. It had to be dark, evoke Halloween but still be colorful. It had to fit an old dusty manor with a lot of wood and rich fabrics and allow for some magic fx ⬇️
