22.11.2024 23:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Modern broiler chickens are anything but natural. They are selectively bread and their rapid growth is a source of a lot of pain and suffering.
A 30g chick can reach slaughter weight, around 2kg, in ~ 6 weeks.
Thatโs the equivalent of a 3kg newborn human baby reaching 300 kilograms in 2 months. ๐ฑ
"On average it takes 15,400 litres of water to make 1kg of beef, but about 5,000 litres for the same amount of beans."
Animal agriculture is a massive waste of water and resources.
Beans are also one of the cheapest foods available with a ridiculously long shelf life.
Make the switch to beans ๐ซ
i would love to be more outwardly aggressive towards people but that's ultimately not gonna save any lives. people love to play the victim when you point out exactly what they're doing

In the first panel, one character asks why the other hasn't become vegan since they understand the principles. The second character replies liking cheese. In the second panel, the first character says cows are impregnated and have their children taken away to steal their milk before being killed, asking if it's worth it. The second character simply responds with a preference for cheese. In the third panel, the first character calls the second selfish for having others abused and killed for trivial enjoyment. The second admits to being selfish and mentions people finding this out since they went vegan. In the fourth panel, the first character reflects on thinking friends and family would choose not to harm innocent victims, while the second character says, "You live and learn." The website "www.vegansidekick.com" is present at the bottom of the panels.

21.11.2024 03:24 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0A cartoon depicting a character questioning various stages of animal farming and meat consumption. The first panel shows a farmer artificially inseminating a cow, explaining that animals are raised and sent to slaughterhouses. The second panel shows a butcher slitting an animal's throat, stating that shops want to buy dead bodies. The third panel features a shopkeeper who stocks meat, saying it's because customers want to buy it. In the final panel, a consumer, eating a burger, deflects responsibility, saying, "It's not like I kill them." The cartoon critiques the disconnection between consumers and animal agriculture.

Comic strip in two panels titled 'How vegans โforce their viewsโ in your imagination vs. What is actually happening.' Top panel shows a vegan pointing a figurative gun labeled 'Go Vegan' at another person, suggesting force. Bottom panel depicts a vegan saying 'Please donโt do it' to a person about to harm a pig, illustrating a plea for compassion.
Vegans are like 'Please reconsider your choices,' and non-vegans hear 'I'm gonna make you go vegan or else!'

The image is a six-panel comic from "vegansidekick.com" that points out the inconsistency in how people view cruelty towards dogs versus pigs. **Panel 1:** One character asks, "What do you think about kicking a dog in the face?" The other responds, "OMG ANIMAL ABUSE MAKES ME SICK." **Panel 2:** The first character asks, "What about kicking a pig in the face?" The other replies, "THATโS THE SAME!" **Panel 3:** The first character asks, "What about hitting a dog with a baseball bat?" The other exclaims, "THATโS EVEN WORSE!" **Panel 4:** The first character asks, "What about hitting a pig with a baseball bat?" The response is, "SAME! ITโS EVEN WORSE!" **Panel 5:** The first character asks, "What about giving a dog an electric shock then slitting their throat?" The other reacts, "OMG THAT IS HORRIBLE!" **Panel 6:** The first character asks, "What about giving a pig an electric shock then slitting their throat?" The other says, "Thatโs fine."
